"I know he will," Harry said. "Which was what I told him." He nodded as she went on, not wanting their vacation to be ruined by his self doubt. "I'm sorry," he murmured, leaning in and nuzzling her neck before returning his attention to the food. "I'll stop. More importantly, I'll focus on what's good in our lives instead."
He snorted at the mention, then shook his head. "We're going to have to accept that sooner or later," he said. "But I agree, family vacation is not in the cards. Perhaps we should allow for a dinner, though? It would make Al happy and now that he is seeing a real therapist perhaps we should indulge him?" he asked.
"At least then we can observe the two, see what this thing is."
