Walden wasn't certain what to make of the news regarding the Malfoys. Lucius had always been as good as Walden at covering his arse. Different methods, what Walden had to suck up to, Lucius could buy. But, to openly betray the Dark Lord? "Those are the risks one takes, I suppose. Lessons must be learnt, after all. Still, it's a shame. I'd rather liked Lucius."
He supposed he should be feeling more out of sorts about all this than he was. But, really, how could one object to not being dead? Especially when it seemed there was so much fun to be had in this new world he'd stumbled into?
"Of course, I shall! The more the merrier, as always." He smirked, remembering past revels. "It's the least I can do to thank you for letting me stay, after all. Perhaps after I have presented myself to our Master, an outing can be planned. I presume there are suitable playrooms available here to enjoy any spoils we might find?" It really was much more fun when one could draw it out, build upon session after session until it all became too much to bear.
