"Yeah, I'll get you one," Lori said, grateful for a chance to escape and pull his thoughts together. He returned and handed it out to Dylan, careful not to drop it. He wasn't completely sober himself, though he was a bit better off than Dylan.
He swallowed, and couldn't meet Dylan's gaze. That's now how it was, was it? But he had to admit that he'd really only stopped because he didn't want to hurt Scor, not because he didn't want Dylan.
He couldn't speak, just nodded. He wanted to protest that of course he wanted only Scorpius, but tonight had proved him wrong. He wanted Dylan too, and that was just not fair to Scorpius.
Dylan Apparated away, leaving just Lori and his thoughts.
