Hugo had lost track of the number of lines he'd written, and was starting to think he'd never get feeling back. His fingers were almost permanently curled around a quill, whether or not there was an actual quill in his hand.
He was in the library again, had been there whenever he wasn't eating or in class, and along with the lines he was actually caught up on homework. He even had his potions essay ready to be handed in, and that wasn't due for a couple more classes. He'd never been so prepared, but it was starting to get on his nerves.
Luckily, just when he'd thought he would hex someone if he had to write one more line, Wren showed up. He grinned when she kissed his cheek, and squeezed her hand in thanks for the chocolate. "It'd be a kind of trouble that was worth it," he said, wishing he could kiss her properly. He knew she was right though, he needed to tow the line for awhile.
