"Ok, I didn't express myself correctly, what I meant to say was not only is she quite adept at it, she can convey it in a way that you can understand. Not all teachers can do that, which makes you wonder why they are teachers." Like Professer Pettigrew; he was obviously brilliant at it, and she'd had no problems with him but there was something about his attitude that put her off.
"I used to like it. I'm not sure what happened, only that it doesn't capture my imagination like it once did." She prodded him with her elbow gently. "Yes I'm sure you're quite adept at it. How many NEWTs did you get, again?"
Oh! It had been a long time since they had been here but she recognized more than a few of the waitstaff from previous visits. Slipping off her coat she was grateful she'd worn a nice dress. Allegra had good tastes in clothes, when it came to gifts. It was a pity that her mother, herself chose to dress in leotards and a conflagaration of dance attire.
Once seated, her thoughts went back to NEWTs once more. "I'm thinking of asking Professor Black about what I can do as far as independent reading to get a leg up on NEWT level potions."
