RP: James, Moody Who: James, Moody Where: the farmhouse When: after work, 12 March, 2025 Rating/Warnings: Summary: James is trying to make decisions and his father wanted him to talk to Moody
Until the fire, he hadn't planned on taking the Aurors tests. He still wasn't sure he should unless he could get into that task force. Of course, he knew that his father wanted him on the werewolf task force, but he really didn't have to take any tests for that. He doubted they'd kick him out. The Voldemort task force, on the other hand, required him to take those stupid tests thanks to the idiotic decree that prohibited trainees to work on the Voldemort's case. Not that the decree'd had a big impact on his case. It's pretty hard to when Voldemort is making night trips to your home. Still, that wasn't the same thing as being on the investigation.
His father wanted him to talk to Moody, obviously so that the man could convince him to take the tests. James decided that talking to him might be a good idea for very different reasons. He had appointed Simmons second in command, and now Simmons would lead the task force. McKinnon would be there too. If he could get into Homicide and convince Moody that he should go to the task force, then it would be unlikely that anyone involved from his father to McKinnon would say no.
Now, he only needed to keep his cool while talking to the man, not exactly something that had gone well in the past, although they had become better lately. With all of this in mind, James Apaprated to the farm house and the house elf showed him the cottage Moody was in. He knocked on the door and waited for the man to answer.
