James wasn't sure if Sirius would tell him, at least not yet, but he would watch and see, and if he needed, he'd ask again in a few days. Watching Sirius was his favourite activity, after all.
He moved so he could be closer to Sirius, holding him with one hand. "I know you will, and I can understand why you want to be able to wake up, but if you need me, you wake me up, okay? Tonight is not the time to pretend you don't have them." He smiled. "Besides, you know me. I'll never ask in the morning." Sirius would talk when he needed, and that was all that matter.
Pressing their foreheads together, he stayed still, feeling the connection between them. "Lily kill them," he said softly. "She killed three people, aunt Audrey's parents."
