There's also no guarantee if she'll be safe enough to be kept out of Azkaban," she said quietly, even though it felt as if something inside of her shattered as she said the words she'd been dreading. "Darling... She really might not be able to return to society. Who knows what damage this has done to her?"
"Let's tell them tomorrow then," she said, reaching for his hand and squeezing it softly. "As for Audrey... I can't hope that she'll forget or maybe even forgive but if there can be some sort of peace without retribution... It's a remote shot, I know, but let's aim for that. Lily might know what she's doing but she's hardly thinking like she usually would. She's not a murderess."
