His voice trailed into silence as his brain went into overdrive. He surfaced a moment later with a frustrated sigh, having concluded that he had insufficient data to theorise upon.
"I'll see to whoever Bill brings in." Snape replied, before nodding firmly at Dumbledore's announcement of his plans. "Good idea." Dumbledore really was the obvious choice for Chief of the Wizengamot. He even had experience in the post. And Riddle would certainly have his work cut out killing Dumbledore, unlike his (literal) predecessor in the post.
