Lana yawned, and stretched, and briefly burrowed deeper under the covers before she sighed. There was a lot of light, which meant it probably wasn't that early in the morning. Her stomach was rumbling, which meant it was time to eat, and she was pretty sure she smelled a little bit like she'd been running around all night.
Which, of course, she had.
So she should shower, since it was polite to do that first, then hunt up some breakfast, and ask about the rescues, if anyone knew yet. Yawning again, she padded out of the bedroom nude, not really considering the fact she'd also have to walk back to the bedroom nude. But really, it was silly to put on a dressing gown for the fifteen foot walk between her room and the bathroom. Once she'd showered, she dried off. Keeping the towel wrapped around herself, she padded back to her bedroom to dress.
Shedding the towel inside her room, she eased into a pair of sweats and a tee-shirt since she had little intention of heading downstairs just yet. Instead, she made her way on bare feet, wet hair sending drips of water down her back and dampening her shirt. She checked first to see if there was anything already made up for breakfast before settling on making herself some toast to have with an apple and juice. If she'd been feeling more ambitious, she'd have thought about some eggs or bacon or sausages, but as it was, she was too sleepy still to bother.
Her thoughts drifted to the hunt the evening prior. It had bee nice, running on the potion, running with friendly people. People she knew, people who were helping her help her former packmates. And she could remember what they'd done. She could remember leading them, finding Sterling's pack, keeping the ones like herself safe. The beaten ones, the ones who hadn't wanted to be a part of the pack. She hoped they found their families again, or at least ... found help. Like she had.
That turned her thoughts to Relic, and her brow furrowed briefly. Lately, she'd been noticing him. Not anything specific, exactly, but just noticing him. His little habits, his quirks, things he did and probably didn't realize he did. She'd found herself almost-but-not-quite staring at him a time or two, studying him. She wasn't precisely sure what it meant, and she wasn't completely sure she wanted to dig too deeply into it.
Besides that, it wasn't as though it would ... go anywhere. She knew sometimes he slept with Acevona, though she wasn't sure if they were exactly lovers. Either way, he wouldn't want a scrawny, skittish thing like her. She wasn't curvy or beautiful or confident. She was just a stray wolf he'd loaned out a corner of his home to.
