'My Dad's a muggle so I didn't have that risk.' Sami grinned, scrunching his hand into his hair, making it stand up in mad tufts. 'So is my Mum, but she did threaten me with a frying pan.' His eyes widened as he saw the eyebrow ring and tongue bar. Piercings were the one thing he wouldn't really do, silly as it sounded he thought it would hurt too much. 'Wasn't that a bit painful? Having your tongue done?' He shivered lightly at the thought of it.
'You're welcome.' Another smile and nod accompanied Sami's words. 'If you feel the need to talk, I'm in my tower most evenings.' He shrugged lightly, not making the offer seem too formal. 'Unless of course I'm wandering the corridors aimlessly.'
Tilting his head he gazed out of the window for a moment, tracking an owl as it returned to its roost. 'You probably don't. I think people on the whole are quite a stupid race, myself included. There are beings far more intelligent than us and we are too slow to acknowledge the fact.'
