Alex arched an eyebrow as a fingertip touched his hair. "I used dye at first, but it was messy. Once I was back in school, I found a charm." Alex held up one arm, pushing back his sleeve, revealing fine dark hairs there. "It works on all of it. The dye was a mess to do eyebrows."
He huffed a soft laugh. "I guess it is. I'm not as crazy as I could be, how's that?" He shrugged. "I 'emoted' enough, the first few days. Wasn't sure I'd stop crying ever, for a while there. My grandmother gave me a potion to make me sleep for one night. I really needed it, I think."
He turned his face to the window, letting the breeze lift his hair. "I guess I'm not good at talking to people about stuff. And when the things they say are so stupid, I just want to avoid it. Like this one girl. She said Wow, are you really sad that your mother's dead? I wanted to hex her, I swear. Or tell her, No, I'm thrilled shitless, can't you tell? How are Ravenclaws so stupid?"
