Alex hesitated, then followed the teacher to the windowsill and perched on the edge of it as well. He'd been anxious to give up Divination, replacing it with Arithmancy, but now he almost wished he'd kept it, just for the amusement factor.
"People probably say the same about me," he said with a shrug.
"And yeah. Nobody knows what to say. The worst thing is, there isn't anything to say, and I know that. They don't have to say anything at all, just stop looking at me like I'm going to break or something. I'm sad, not crazy."
