"I ..." she frowned. But she supposed, to be fair, Ash had been in a bit of a state the past few days. "I thought she would have mentioned to you," Ari murmured. "And I assume she told the Ministry, though I'm not sure. She said she and Ben were writing the owls to inform people ..." she trailed off as he steered her. "Don't think it'd matter much to them, anyway," she pointed out. "Even if they knew."
She glanced around to see if she could spot the blond healer, but it wouldn't have surprised her in the least if Ash had ducked out early. "You could ... go ask her," Ari mused aloud as she abandoned her search of the crowd; there was a lot of blond hair here.
Crossing her arms over her chest, Ari leaned back against the wall before she shifted her eyes to Neville. "It might ... hold some weight if it goes to a ... council or jury or whatever it would go to in this situation. I mean, since when has a headmaster ever not been a professor first?
