Marlene had gone to work, just like she had promised. To say that things were bad was an understatement, and Simmons? Really, when had they started putting babies in charge of anything. His real age didn't even matter, because he looked so inexperienced, and there was so much that needed to be changed. Although he could see why Alastor liked this chaos. He got to do all the work he wanted. From speaking to that Ronan bloke, she got the same impression. Men! They were idiots.
She still hadn't made a decision, though. The division was not what it was supposed to be, but it was her job, and if she didn't do it, Alastor would have no support other than Emmeline, and one person wasn't enough to off-set the problems. She'd still have to talk to Potter, before deciding.
She was thinking this over as she got home and took her Auror robe off. She threw on Alastor's shirt over her corset, leaving the elastic holding up her stockings visible. It was a good thing that none of the men in the house cared. She walked through the hole in the wall only to find the bed empty.
"Alastor Moody, if you've left, I will chain you to the bloody bed until May. You promised me," she said in a loud voice as she walked to the living room, stilettos clicking with each threatening step. When she got into the room, she relaxed since Alastor was indeed there.
"Oy, boss, you're here." She sat on the armrest of Alastor's chair. "I'll see what the G man has made for dinner and after you eat, it's bed, or I'll really chain you up." She grinned at Potter and stood up again. "Sir, you tire him and I will hex you, boss or no boss."
