He'd never noticed before that Alex's habit of tucking his hair behind his ear was something inherited from Angie. The constant ache intensified for a minute, before he pushed the feeling down and went to sit next to his son. He put his arm around him and hugged him close.
"I know, but you'll be fine. Watch out for your sister, pass your exams." They'd be safe at Hogwarts, had to be. He let his son get up, but he stayed on the windowsill, watching as Alex paced around the room.
