Hermione had told Ron that they would be eating dinner at one of Ron's favorite pubs. The Three Broomsticks held so many good memories for Ron, and Ron liked that he was close to the castle on Hugo's first night back.
Ron had ordered a pint after they first sat down. He was exhausted from work. Instead of sleeping in this morning, he had to get up in the middle of the night and deal with another attack. Happy Birthday
So, tonight, he was going to ignore all of the problems in the world and be relaxed with his wife. He hoped that perhaps his daughter would be there too, or his best friend and his sister. But even if it was just Ron and Hermione tonight, he would be happy.
He looked up into his daughter's face when he heard her voice. He grinned, "Rosie!" He stood and brought her into a tight hug. "Oh love." He then looked up and noticed his son standing behind his sister. "HUGO!" He smiled and pulled him into a hug too. "I felt so awful for missing your departure this morning." He pressed a kiss to the top of Hugo's head, and kissed Rose on the cheek. He didn't want to let them go.
