She chuckled. "I hope I do all right. If not, then there is not much I can do about being here."
"I don't want to talk about it," she said, looking at him and arching an eyebrow as if daring him to disagree. She knew she was desirable, she had seen the way boys had looked at her whilst she was growing up. She'd even seen the way her father's friends had vied for her attention.
