"Yes, they are," she said with a sigh, and then nodded. "Thank you. It's very kind of you to say that." She didn't know the woman, and she didn't blame her for whatever her son might have done.
She smiled. "But enough of the serious talk, it might be a funeral, but no sense for all of us to be sad. So what do you do? Been back long? It's sort of strange to ask people how long they've been back from the dead since it hardly feels like I've died in the first place, more like... misplaced in time."
