Luna nodded, it seemed the better thing to do. Everyone grieved in their own way, but most didn't like to talk about their loss. She was sure that mourners who wished to speak to them would easily seek them out when they were ready. For now, Rolf and Luna would stand with them in support.
Rolf pulled her closer to him, Luna reveling in the contact as she wrapped her arms tightly around her husband's waist. Tears pricked her eyes, their tragic surroundings beginning to break down her emotional shield. "Why?" she whispered, looking up at Rolf. "Why do they seek to hurt us so much? Haven't they done enough to us already?"
She bowed her head. The war had been over for years. People had been able to rebuild their lives. So why was history repeating itself once more?
