Luna leaned into Rolf, getting all the support she could. She was grateful that he had come with her today, despite him still needing to heal. It proved to her just how lucky she was to have Rolf. He was the best thing that had ever happened to her, save for their children. She looked around in search of them, but there were too many people.
She looked up at him, her normally dreamy eyes tired. "Should we go and speak to the family?" she asked, unsure. Some were at the graves, others talking to the reporters. Others were just standing around, like her and Rolf. The next day, the roles would be reversed, and it would her father they would be saying goodbye to.
At least they had bodies to bury, Luna thought grimly. Xenophilius had not been found, and it had devastated Luna. She would never see her father's smiling face again, hear his calming voice. She swayed slightly, the emotion of it all hitting her.
