He wanted to ask Jamie more about this training he and Sirius were doing (and if he could join in), but now wasn't the time. Instead he just squeezed Rose and left his arm around her.
At the mention of Wren he just grinned, choosing to be smug instead of embarrassed. "She's brilliant, and actually likes books. So I suppose I'll have to put up with them." He glanced at Jamie. "For the defense league. We're on the same team."
He'd heard that there had been more people returning, but hadn't encountered any of them yet. He supposed Rose and Jamie knew more than he did, and listened with interest for anything exciting. It was a good distraction.
"I'll be back at the castle on Monday. If he's still on bed rest, I can peek in on him too," he offered.
