"You'd be surprised what people will do when you're willing to pay for them." Sirius reminded James with a laugh. "And we certainly have the money to have anyone put snakes or troll legs anywhere we like." He knew though there wouldn't be any in the home when they finished it.
"Predictable?" Sirius arched an eyebrow at James at the accusation. "Oh Merlin, you don't even know what you're getting yourself into, husband of mine." He chuckled, it might not have been a dare exactly, but it was certainly close enough, and Sirius wasn't going to be satisfied until he'd surprised James.
"That's all I'll ask, is that you try." Sirius knew how hard the promise would be to actually keep if he was the one left alone and he didn't want James to lie just to make him feel better. "Right, it's not going to be an issue for either of us." He curled his fingers around the back of James' neck pulling him close and kissing him again, biting at his lower lip before he pulled back.
