"I know. I heard," Sandy said, squeezing his brother's hand tightly. "They're not having you, Lori. It'll be over my dead body that they get hold of you, do you hear? I'm not about to let some maniacs take you."
"I don't want you to be a target either. We're identical, who's to say they would get the right twin?" he asked, his laugh muffled into Lori's shoulder. "We'll see what happens. I don't want to really be a Seer, not if it means I live nightmares twice but at the same time... If I can help people."
He sighed and helped Lori get up out of bed. Walking over to the door, he popped his head around it and made sure nobody was waiting in the corridor before beckoning to Lori that it was safe to go to their parents' room.
