Luna managed a smile at Rolf. "I believe I saw some floating around the nurse that came in earlier. The frown she wore was a sure sign." she replied, grateful that he was changing the subject. She didn't want to cry anymore, and keeping her distracted would prevent it from happening again. "But I don't think they will come after you, no, your aura is too powerful for them to handle." she added thoughtfully, reveling in the warmth of his hand over hers.
Rolf had been a miracle. No boys had ever taken a fancy to Luna, and to be honest, she hadn't found them all that interesting either. They always looked down at her, smirking and pointing when her back was turned. No, if Luna was to fall in love, it would be with someone who understood her, got her.
And then she had met Rolf, and he didn't seem to think that she was loony at all- no, he indulged in her wonders and encouraged her dreams. Luna had fallen in love with him quickly, he was everything she could have ever wanted in a husband, in a lover. Every day that she rolled over in bed and he was next to her, Luna was thankful.
