Fred sobbed into George's shoulder as they embraced. He was never really an emotional person, and hardly ever cried, but the sight of his father's motionless body had just sent Fred over the edge. Coupled with this strange new time he was living in, it had all just become too much. Hearing that his father had died before anyone had arrived made him even more emotional - his father had died alone.
As George shook him, Fred wiped his nose with the back of his sleeve. He was needed, and by his mother. He nodded in response, words failing him. What was he to say to his brother who had not only lost a father but his wife? "Right." he managed to mumble, standing up slowly.
"Be careful." he whispered, giving George's shoulder one last squeeze before he stepped back and disapperated with a loud crack.
