Re: Attack on the Burrow
As the flamed licked higher, Bella waited, watching until she saw to her glee three people emerge through the front door. With a laugh she struck the young one down as soon as he was out of the house, letting the others capture the other too, suspending them in mid air, bound and without wands.
When they were sure there was no one else in the house, Bella revealed herself, stepping into the light of the fire, looking at the old woman who had supposedly killed her. "So we met again, or is it at least?" she asked. "I can't remember, but rumour has it that you got lucky." She sneered. "We'll see how lucky you are today."
Without incantation she made the the muggle-loving husband fall to the ground before she aimed and cast the Cruciatus on him, feeling pleasure course through her as he screamed with pain worse than his every nightmare. She didn't let up until the hoarse with the effort. Smiling still, Bella aimed for the Weasley woman and did the same thing, revelling in her screams.
"People," she heard behind her, and looking over her shoulder she could tell help had arrived in the village, and would be heading this way. "Too bad we could not make this meeting longer," she said, before training her wand on the man again.
"Avada Kedavra." She ordered the withdrawal immediately, leaving the woman suspended in mid air while her house burnt and her husband lay dead on the ground beneath her.
