Again, it was easier said than believed, but Lori didn't want to argue over it. Instead, he just nodded, and tried to let himself believe that. Someday he might even succeed.
"I am tired," he said, and it was true. If he could sleep would be an entirely different matter. He'd refused Dreamless Sleep because of how addictive it was, but he was pretty sure if he woke up screaming again he'd be forced to take it.
