"Thinking about work makes the headache go away," he said honestly. "It's just trying to let my eyes focus on print that gets in the way." He gave Dylan a tiny grin, glad that he was here and easy to talk to, even with all their history. "Yes, I find all that fun. Figuring out new ways to help people by studying what's been done in the past. It's rewarding too."
He shook his head at the question. "I don't want to talk about it. It was my fault, but there's nothing I can do now but hope he's okay. Talking about it won't help." That was more than he'd intended to say, but he felt he owed a small explanation.
"No, Ogden's won't help right now. It'd interfere with the potions, and probably make the headache worse. Thanks for thinking of it though."
