At the mention of the Muggle world, Lorcan had to fight back an instant panic attack. He couldn't let Dylan go there, what if he got hurt? He couldn't stand it if someone else got hurt because of him.
"No! No, that's all right," he said, and hoped he'd done an okay job of masking the fear. "I'm going home tomorrow, and I should be back to normal by then." He still didn't think he'd be able to read, but that was more because of thinking about Scorpius than because of a headache.
He reached out and briefly covered Dylan's hand with his own, squeezing a little. He was pretty sure Dylan was as "fine" as he was, which was not actually fine at all. "I was so sorry to hear about your dad. I went to the funeral, but you seemed busy. I didn't want to intrude." He drew his hand back, flushing just a tiny bit. "Sorry, I didn't mean to bring that up. The Potions are making me both headachy and chattier than normal."
