"Well, I think they're clever. Each year the older students try to make the Charms longer laster and more in tune. I might or might not give them pointers. You'll never be able to prove it," he said wiht a grin. "And de-Charming them is always fun. It sometimes ends in explosions, and we all know how I feel about those."
He nodded, and finished his own tea. "Anytime, Ginny. I mean that. You and Harry are friends, and I'd hate to think I overlooked something that might help." He reached out and squeezed her hand, offering whatever comfort he could, however inadequate it was.
"Oh, darling, I'm the hugest gossip," he said, affecting a slightly feminine voice. "But I wouldn't about this." He was more serious now, and leaned back. "You're welcome, and if I can help with anything else let me know. If you like, I could take a look at the journal, see if there are any hidden charms that are easy to miss. I'm good with puzzles."
