RP: Regulus Who: Regulus Where: Hogwarts When: Morning, 8 February, 2025 Rating/Warnings: Summary: Regulus reacts to the news of the Dark Mark at Hogwarts
Regulus stood in front of the mark. The skull was so familiar and it made his skin itch. He resisted the urge to scratch his arm. There was nothing there; he was free, except that the mark was there, a new mark that showed just how arrogant the man was. He was, is, and will be rotting in hell, he mentally finished, but there was no time to commiserate or worry. There were things to do.
The Aurors were going to search the castle, and Regulus hadn't had the time to go through the possessions in Grimmauld Place. He had no idea if there were dark objects there. He rushed down to the dungeon, and told Kreacher and Dolan to start moving the boxes again, bring them to Sirius' place. They could be stored there until Grimmauld Place was finished. Once that was done, he left his quarters. If they wanted to find him, they'd just have to find him around the castle, that would give the two house elves time to move everything. Of course, there was a more important task: finding Voldemort's spy.
Regulus had one sure way to find out, nothing that the Auror could or would do. He didn't tell anyone, didn't ask for permission, but slowly, he began using legilimecy on staff and seventh years, hoping to find the guilty party.
