They didn't have a good track record with this. Things never went right when Sirius was around. He couldn't blame his husband, though. He knew that Sirius had tried to smooth things over both times he'd been there, but both he and Severus were too tense with Sirius around. He hoped now that his relationship with Severus was better the lessons would be too.
They reached Hogwarts relatively early, because James was hoping that they would still have the afternoon to work on the bike. When they got there, the snake hissed at him, but let them pass. When they got upstairs, James smiled. "I think your statue is starting to dislike my frequent visits. Or maybe it's just visits foroma Gryffindor, not sure, but I can tell you that it doesn't like me." He grinned. "How are you this morning? Any death treats from any of the players?" he teased, knowing that the games had been fairly relaxed and there wouldn't be any fights about it.
