Re: Remus/Lily Luna
Remus watched her curiously, sensing the change, the sudden tension as though she was closing off some portion of her thoughts. He was still worried about her a much as he'd told Harry so the week before over brunch. Watching a friend die was never easy and he wondered if she was truly dealing well with it.
"In a life or death situation, if it's the only thing that might save yourself or someone you care about, the risks might be worth it." He was definitely wondering if this had to do with her friend's death now. "Understanding it is always a better course. But sometimes, no, it's not possible."
And sometimes, he thought, nothing is possible. Despite wanting to try and get her to open up and talk to him about what was on her mind, Remus would let her father pry. But, he'd leave his own door open just in case. "You know, Lily, if there's ever anything you want to discuss about this, my office door is always open to you."
