Re: James/Harry
"I never thought that it would be the reason. Moody telling me that I shouldn't be an Auror might have started the discussion," he answered, because for all the teasing, he knew that the only reason Moody even want him around was because he could lead them to Voldemort, and if he were out of the division, they'd get no information from him. "But as I said, I'm not worried. I'll find other ways to make money."
He shrugged. "I don't think he knows how much money he makes or has. Regulus has been managing both vaults, and Sirius gets money from there when he needs it. It's not like he got paid until this month."
"You really fail at being subtle, Dad. I'm amazed that you even made Head Auror. Good thing you're good, because you suck as a politician," he said, snorting. Or maybe he was spending too much time with Severus and Regulus. "We're fine, Dad. Tired, but fine."
James nodded. "I'll keep it in mind." However, he wouldn't talk to his father, not about Sirius. What went on between them was no one's business but their own. "Now, I should go find said husband. I'll see you later, okay?"
