Re: James/Neville
"That was one of the attractions for me too, or at least how I started. I was very much raised to be the prim and proper little boy. Working in the garden was the one way I was allowed to get dirty." Now that was interesting. "I'd like that. Let me know if you need any help getting the plants."
Neville sighed. "It's admirable and appealing in many ways, but sometimes not the safest way to be." In a different time, it wouldn't be an issue, but nowadays, Neville thought, caution was wisest.
"Short memories and no grudges; one of the best things about the Weasley/Potter clan."
"Wait, you're spending time with the Headmaster? Did I know that?" But Snape had said Jaime invited him. "What for? And do me a favor, okay? If you'd rather not tell me or can't, just say so. I much prefer that than dissimulation or misdirection. I'm a big boy, I can take being told to mind my own business." Jamie was an adult, after all, he had a right to privacy.
"That's good. I'd imagine it is or was somewhat disconcerting to find out her son could do magic. He's what? Five?" So he'd be his last years at Hogwarts when his own son started. "You should bring them to the Leaky. Hannah would make sure they felt comfortable there."
"And now that I know you're so good with little ones, I'll let you spoil mine when he's old enough." He teased.
