Re: James/Harry
Harry laughed. "Insulted? Definitely not. And I can compare you in a lot of ways, but no I was comparing the way your husband looks at you and the way I look at your mother. As if there is no one in this world you could imagine being with." He felt a slight pang of worry as James went on, but pushed it firmly away. "I hope that day won't come anytime soon," he said instead, smiling, leaving it at that.
At the next comment though, he just laughed. "I guess I should take Sirius refusing to even show me the bike without you there to mean that you do it together," he said.
The mention of Pettigrew had him frowning, if only for a moment. He remembered how upset Sirius had been when he returned. "I wish he'd never come back," he said. "And that's not true," he said. "Sirius trusts you, that I'm sure of. And let them keep it small if that's what they need." He smiled. "A question though, if you're for whatever reason in need of me or your mother, we'll be able to get in as long as you're there, right? Gives us permission" he asked, because really it was all he cared about.
