Re: James/Allison
Allison had put up with Toby's badgering to go on a broom for the first two matches but when Jamie came over and offered to take him up, she didn't hesitate to hand her son over. Anything to give her a moment's peace.
Free to talk to some other people at last, she had mingled for a bit and she had only broken away from the crowd when Jamie and Toby had headed back down from the skies. Toby was beaming from ear to ear and babbling about how flying was the coolest thing ever and Allison couldn't help but smile.
And feel slightly envious that she couldn't do magic so he'd think she was the most awesome thing alive too.
"Me? I think I'll stay on the ground," she said, not wanting to mention her fear of heights. "Somebody needs to look after Toby."
"Mummy's scared. She doesn't like heights," Toby informed Jamie solemnly. "Doesn't like planes too."
