While the bodyguards did a thorough check of the flat, Lorcan got plates and glasses and uncorked the wine. He grinned at Scorpius, who was watching him work around the kitchen. It felt oddly domestic, but he couldn't help but like it.
"Umm, yeah. He offered, and I accepted. I like to be alone with you," he said shyly, and then headed back into the living room where they were going to eat. It was less formal than eating at the table, and would help him relax.
He was glad he had food to distract him though, as his stomach was fluttery and face hot as he thought about exactly why Sandy had offered to stay somewhere else tonight. He almost decided to call it off, but remembered that he wanted this. He was tired of being different, and Scorpius wouldn't hurt him.
