Ginny didn't want to, but she kept her eyes on her father's stunned face. It was hard putting the whole situation into words. How could she elaborate and tell him that it wasn't Harry who wanted the divorce? It was she, because she was too weak and pathetic to deal with the burden of being Mrs Harry Potter.
She rolled her eyes when her father went into protective mode. She didn't mean to, it was a natural reaction. Some things just never changed, no matter the time or distance.
"No he wasn't. With the media going crazy over him with his move into Head of the Auror Department, I just couldn't take it. When we first got married, the media was a problem. I grew to enjoy my life writing about the news that wasn't focused on my life. But now it is again, and it broke the straw in the hippogriff's back, so to speak."
