Lorcan didn't even have to think before answering his brother. "I was terrified," he admitted. "But having something to do helped, and there were a lot of people who needed medical attention afterward. It kept me busy."
At the next question he did have to think, and chewed his lip as he did so. "I do like him, a lot, but I don't think it's as...intense as I felt about Dylan," he said carefully. "But I don't think that's a bad thing? I was really messed up over Dylan and I don't want to get that way again." The thought chilled him.
"Scor is fun, even if there's some things we can't do, like go out in public holding hands. His family wouldn't approve, and I don't want to come between them."
He grinned at Sandy's idea to help out, and nodded. "There's always need for help, even with simple cleaning chores. I'm sure Patrick would like to have another hand. And it could be something we do together."
