"I am thinking about it," Harry answered. "Trust me, if I send that off it will be a thought through decision." He looked at it, then folded it and put it away for now. "I'm not sure I can work here, doing this, when we're expected to turn into them."
He shrugged. "Of course you're fine," he said, because he hadn't expected another answer. "You might want to be less fine for the shrink," he said. "It's your first kill, you're supposed to feel something, even if it was to protect a child." His voice was tired. That of someone who was exhausted.
You just damaged your soul, you're supposed to feel something. Only he knew too well that one didn't automatically. It was one of the things that scared him most.
"There will be media all over this," he said. "Be prepared."
Running his hands over his face, he sighed deeply. "By the way, keep an eye on Craig," he added. "He's been seeing Jacob Selwyn," he said. "I plan to talk to him today to let him know, but until I have, I'd advice you to block him from direct access to the house just in case."
"If you prefer to tell him yourself, that's fine too."
