Harry didn't see what being related had to do with it. "I told you, he's one of Jamies two best friends. Craig and Dylan are about the only two people save from Sirius whom James trust completely," he said. "They may not be related, but they're family all the same. Hell Dylan's father doesn't - didn't - have that kind of access in spite of Dylan living there. It's not about relatives, it's about trust."
"Had you told me about this, I could have told you this and Jamie wouldn't be at risk." And one thing was clear, Craig needed to be brought up to speed about things. Order or not didn't matter, but they needed to be informed of those who were out there who might target Jamie.
Harry was not surprised when Snape went on, and really Snape's outburst did not seem as bad as he had once found them. "I've been head of the division for roughly six months, Severus," he said. "Even you can blame me for decades worth of other people's decisions."
"Ron has been going over the curriculum since he took over, Moody is helping, we are changing training - in other words, we're moving on this as fast as we can." And he was still of the opinion that it wasn't the spells that caused the largest problem, but the lack of experience with this type of violence. A blasting curse could easily kill if cast right, but no Auror would think to use it that way. There were more examples, spells that could be efficient if used correctly, but which when used according to the book would do no damage at all to someone like Bellatrix or Voldemort.
"I'm asking you to help us, to help us fight Voldemort with more efficiency than we've ever had the ability to. He's already killed so many of us. The ones here, then Cass who was one of the few who actually did have experience, now the guards of Azkaban... We need your help."
