RP: A lazy Sunday evening for an otherwise frantic personality Who: Maria Warrington, Where: Their bunk When: August 2nd, early evening Rating/Warnings: It's Maria, there's no real telling what she'll get up to. Summary: Maria's more mellow than usual (which means probably more welcoming to guests and intruders), and contemplating life at camp. Status: Open to campers/anyone; complete.
Maria sat on her bed, the door to the cabin open and the warm breeze coming in from outside. It felt good on her hot skin as she lounged with a book her father had given her to pass the time while at camp, clad in a muggle t-shirt and jean shorts. Not like she would spend the time with the other campers, after all. This one was a 'coffee table book' of photographs taken in Cambodia. Her father had been bashful giving it to her, but he hadn't needed to worry - it was the perfect gift, she wanted nothing more than to be left alone in the world to see such beautiful things, but worried it would never happen for her. No, that happened for others, and that was fine, she kept to her beautiful pictures in the meantime.
Taking a deep breath she moved her head back to her pillow and looked out the door, wondering what might happen if she simply took a nap until dinner with the door open wide like that. Surely her roommates wouldn't appreciate it, but she could always terrify them with stories of simply being exhausted this close to the full moon. Didn't quite matter that the full wouldn't hit her and make her tired till the afternoon of, and then she'd be cranky and tired until it came into the sky, transforming her. Hopefully somewhere far, far away from this exact spot.
The breeze moved the door with an abrupt noise - it banged and then opened again - waking Maria slightly from her musings, and it was this that took her attention as she waited for dinner time to roll around and another day to end.
