"Yeah, course I will," Hugo said. He moved so his back was against the wall, and pulled her close to him again. She was almost like a sister to him, closer than his other cousins, and he hated to see her upset. If he would, he would thrash whoever had done this to her, except it had been a crazy woman and the Aurors had already taken care of it.
"I don't know," he said, rubbing her back and smoothing down her hair. He had an idea though, but it was too horrible to say out loud. "The Aurors have her now. Our dads will take care of it." In his mind, there was nothing his Dad or Uncle Harry couldn't do. And if there was, well his mother would do it for them. That was just how they worked.
