Bill reached over and punched George's side, rolling his eyes and laughing. "I think he'd appreciate your support, though he'd prefer Minister on that badge," he said with a smirk.
"Of course it's not your fault, George. You couldn't know he was starting to drink. And have you considered that the hair, the make up - they're just signs of the same thing. He's not comfortable in his own skin. In a way he's like Perce. He doesn't fit in to whatever expectations he thinks there is for him."
"Who ever said our children were reasonable?" he asked with a smile.
