"Well most people aren't Sirius Black." He chuckled. "But don't worry, I don't tell them I am having fun, I keep that little bit of information to myself, I wouldn't want them to think they're not working hard enough."
He grinned when James asked, because he really would have been too disappointed if he hadn't. "You can't teach an old dog new tricks." He smirked and kissed James before he could try and give him a hard time about lame jokes.
"Alright, Alright. I'll work on being less smug, but only for you, Jamie." He grinned. "Though really if you'd wanted me less smug we should have put that in the vows."
Not long after they were arriving at Hogwarts and then flying up to the school, and James had been right, it was cold - Sirius could hardly feel his face - but it had been worth it. The broom Harry had gotten him for Christmas was spectacular. And it made getting up to the castle much easier than the walk would have been.
"And now to face the music I suppose." He grinned as he dismounted the broom.
