Remus knew that smile. Harry's father had shared it -- for about the same reasons. But, that was okay. Remus didn't need to say anything to still be there for Harry.
"A Potter part of the decision to cancel Quidditch?" he asked with an expression of mock horror. "Isn't that one of the signs of the Apocalypse?" He understood how thin the Aurors were spread, though. That had been his argument against getting Moody involved in any kind of duelling demonstration.
And, really, duelling and the sort of wandfights these kids could find themselves in were vastly different fields. "If it doesn't we'll find another way. We won't let them fall through the cracks."
Bless Harry for not pushing, Remus thought, because Harry was one of three people Remus could see himself actually talking to about things. And now wasn't the time for that.
