Re: Remus/Harry
Harry sighed, because on one level he knew that Remus was right. On another Jamie's words were still stuck with him. He got people killed. Wasn't this the ultimate proof of that?
He smiled a bit when Remus went on. "It's hard not to care when someone like that comes your way. He was only eleven, just about to turn twelve, and his mother had kicked him out to live with what was essentially a stranger." He sighed. "I guess I could relate only far too easily to the feeling of hating where you came from and longing for a family."
Harry chuckled. "Yes she told me," he said. "Though, I have a hard time seeing cancelling Quidditch as a silver lining to anything. However, the War Games could help," he said. "Though we'll never know until we're there do we? At least we knew what we were training for."
"And are you telling me that is the best silver lining in your life right now?" he asked. "You need to live too, Remus. Not just work."
