"Yes, 26 years is really that much longer than a decade. It is 160% longer, to be precise," he said in a sarcastic voice before changing to a disagreeing but respectful tone. "Still, there were lots of wounds and damage that were fresh during our ten year interlude, Bill, Plus there was the fear that he wasn't really dead. We didn't have that during the last 26 years."
He took his glasses off and cleaned them. "There'll be time for second-guessing ourselves and analyzing what mistakes were made. That's what history is for. But right now we can't get dragged into that. We have to be focused on defeating the bugger and working to ensure it is all the harder for the next dark wizard to gain a following."
"Perhaps a party is what they need - a reminder that life goes on," he shrugged. "Plus I'm sure Riddle would love to know his antics encourage people not to celebrate happiness."
